Requirements for certified hug teachers (CHT):
1) Appropriate Professional Background
Certification in (or student of):
Medicine (Nurse, Midwife, Physician, PT, OT, Speech Therapist)
Lactation (IBCLC, CLC, BPC, Lactation Educator)
Birth Support (Doula, Childbirth Educator)
Education (Early Childhood or Daycare Teacher, Nanny,Parent or Infant Massage Educator)
Other - Please contact HUG Your Baby if you have another professional background.
